About Phillip Albanese

Phillip started working in his family's business, Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. as a laborer and apprentice carpenter during his high school summers. Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. is a third-generation family-owned business specializing in multiple construction disciplines. Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. has been recently recognized as a top family owned business (#4) and privately-owned business (#10) by the Silicon Valley Business Journal and a "Top 100 Specialty Contractor" in the Nation by the Engineering News Record. Furthermore, JJA was recently distinguished as the number 15 Best Places to Work by the Silicon Valley Business Journal and San Francisco Business Times.

Phil stepped into the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2014. As the COO, Phil is responsible for the sales and operations cycle - securing and executing projects that fit JJA's culture of safety, on-time schedules and top quality. His goal is to continue to strengthen the JJA brand by consistently beating expectations of its clients.

Phil graduated from Boston College in 2008 where he was a two-year captain and 2008 American Rugby News All-American for the men's rugby team. Phil and his wife Lindsey live in Los Gatos and recently welcomed their first child to the family. He is particularly proud of his involvement in the Jesuit Cup Rugby Tournament, the Friends of BCRFC, the Big Dog Bocce Classic, and the California Waterfowl Association - fundraising events that support his passions for athletics, the Jesuit education, and the great outdoors.
