San Juan Bautista Immersion Trip Highlights

This immersion trip focused on experiencing the land that nourishes us. They spent three days and two nights camping in McAlpine Park and had their meetings on a 230-acre organic ranch & farm in San Juan Bautista. The issues they talked about included environmental sustainability, land stewardship, immigration, migrant workers, biodynamics, holistic resource management, and more, and our students learned how our lifestyles, values, choices, and consumption patterns affect people, cultures, and the environment. This was the first of many immersion trips this summer and definitely a success!
