Community Clean-Up

On Saturday, October 24th a group of 24 Cristo Rey students took part in a neighborhood cleanup led by the Friends of the Five Wounds Trail, a group with CommUniverCity. As part of the Christian Service Program and in an effort to strengthen our school's relationship with our community, Rosa Contreras, our Admissions Coordinator, and the students joined with the other volunteers to collect 150 bags of trash! This commitment to keeping the trail clean is an ongoing project for the Friends of the Five Wounds, and our students are already excited to participate in the next trail cleanup in April 2016.
